Weekend Watch: 20-22 February 2015

Weekend 20-22 February 2015Another weekend is upon us! How will you celebrate your two days of freedom?

Attingham Park will be hosting Snowdrop Evening walks from 5.30pm to 8pm each day this weekend. The woodlands will be transformed with hundreds of candles and fairy lights to give you the opportunity to see the beautiful carpet of snowdrops in a completely different light (pardon the pun). No booking is needed and the normal £2 admission charge applies. And if you need to warm up afterwards, the Greedy Pig will be serving sausages, bacon and hot drinks from 6pm to 7.30pm. Rug up and take a torch!

London Beer Week will wrap up this weekend with the third annual Craft Beer Rising Festival at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. The festival is devoted specifically to new craft brewers, so it’s a great opportunity to discover some new favourites. Street food will be available, and there will also be DJs for your entertainment. Tickets for the Saturday day session have sold out but all other sessions are still available at the time of publication. Ticket prices also include a £5 beer token.

The Vault Festival 2015 is in full swing, with at least ten different performances every single day of its thirty day run. This weekend’s highlights include Yve Blake’s Lie Collector, Dani Frankenstein’s Shut Up and Dance, and BattleActs. Vault 2015 is on until 8 March.
