Weekend Watch: 27-29 March
As always, there’s lots to do this weekend, whether it’s sampling cheese and chocolate, exploring the spectacle of the species or sleeping with Sherlock!

Two delicious festivals are taking place this weekend at the same location – the Cheese and Wine Festival and the Chocolate Festival are both being held at the Business Design Festival on Upper Street. Enjoy tasty treats, chocolate spa treatments and baking demonstrations. Combined entry to both festivals costs £9.

The theme of this month’s Friday Late at the V&A is Spectacle of the Species, inspired by Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty. Join an evening of skeletal armoury, skins, scales and crystals as you explore the natural elements that were intrinsic to McQueen’s vision. The evening is free and runs 18.30 – 22.00.

And on Saturday night, you could be Sleeping with Sherlock! The Museum of London will be hosting its first ever all-night event to celebrate the Sherlock Holmes exhibition. The night includes a three-course dinner, talks from detective specialists, comedy performances and improvised story-telling, the secrets of fingerprinting and blood splatter analysis, grizzly ghost stories in the thick of night, a movie marathon and a full English breakfast. Standard tickets cost £175 or pay £220 for a VIP ticket including early entry, a glass of champagne with dinner, a double mattress in a separate sleeping area and your own breakfast area.
